The Sea Sanctuary has been acknowledged as part of the Airbnb “Superhost” program continuously each quarter since the program began in 2014 and is also considered a “Premier” property on the VRBO platform. The reviews for the Sea Sanctuary both on airbnb and VRBO average over 4.9/5.0. I listen to my guests and strive to continually improve the home and their holiday experience. Living in the home as I do for part of the year allows me to attend to maintenance and improvements first hand.

“This house has it all. I have stayed at many ocean and beach vacation houses and have never been so happy and relaxed. It offers the best of many worlds: gorgeous views, easy beach access, miles of walking paths, close wildlife, peaceful atmosphere, great kitchen fully stocked, separate media space, and a hot tub with beach or star views!. It had so many lovely touches that really gave us the feeling of being in a sanctuary. The loft and musical instruments were a hit with everyone, especially the kids. The fireplace and great room were spacious and inviting on a cool night. We also loved how amazing the nearly empty stretch of beach was. There was also ocean wildlife right outside the door to explore and view. I will book early and often to come back to this wonderful space!

The pictures on the website are beautiful but actually being in the space and enjoying the sun streaming in the many strategically placed windows is beyond what a picture can capture. It is tranquil. The beach is right in front and feels like you are on your own private beach. We will come back again. Lovely.”

“Our family arrived at the Sea Sanctuary expecting to enjoy our time together for my husband’s 70th birthday and excited about being so close to the ocean. What actually happened was wonderful beyond our hopes and dreams. The house is so close to the beach that when we woke up in the morning we could see whales and porpoises from the hot tub and from the house. We walked the beach, saw seal pups on the rocks, and enjoyed the beautiful design and details of the house. The Sea Sanctuary is designed with so much love and care that every space is beautiful, and comfortable, and relaxing. Everyone had beautiful places to sleep, read, hang out, walk, and cook- with an ocean view! Everything we needed was there for our large group that ranged in age from 70 to 3 months. Having the piano was a special treat- we enjoyed the live music and it has always been my husband’s dream to be in a house on the beach with a piano. As we were leaving we all knew that something beautiful had happened for our family- we will always remember. Now we want to go back!”
